Danyal Roodbari was a man of unwavering dedication, joy, and intellect. Born in Iran, Danyal immigrated to the United States at a young age, where he joined his father, who had established their family home in the South Bay. His early years in California led him to become a lifelong fan of the Raiders, a team that resonated with his sense of loyalty and determination.

Later, Danyal and his family relocated to the San Fernando Valley, where his passion for law was ignited while working for Grupo Med Legal. Surrounded by attorneys, he realized his true calling and committed himself to becoming a lawyer. In 2015, he proudly achieved his dream, earning his law degree from the University of West Los Angeles and being admitted to the California Bar. From that moment forward, Danyal embarked on a legal career marked by professionalism, integrity, and a dedication to justice.

Family was at the core of Danyal’s life. He leaves behind his beloved children, Kianna and Benjamin, who were his pride and joy. His devotion to them was boundless, and they were always his top priority. He also leaves behind his cherished mother, Fatimeh, affectionately known as “Mama Fati.” His family meant everything to him, and he was a pillar of strength and love for them.

Danyal had a gift for bringing joy to everyone he encountered. He was always laughing, joking, and finding ways to make others smile. A lover of music, he would often sing to his children and friends, filling any room with songs from his favorite artists like Elvis Presley, Madonna, The Beach Boys, and Johnny Cash. His passion for 80s music and karaoke was contagious, and his joyful spirit was unforgettable.

An avid outdoorsman, Danyal enjoyed spending time camping in Yosemite and boating in Long Beach. He also had a fondness for visiting Las Vegas, where he loved playing blackjack. Beyond his love of adventure, Danyal was deeply knowledgeable, especially when it came to history—particularly Iranian history. He was always curious, always learning, and always sharing his knowledge with others.

Danyal was known for his unwavering belief in people. Whether encouraging his children or supporting friends and colleagues, he made everyone feel valued and appreciated. His kindness, generosity, and ability to uplift others will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Danyal is survived by his children, Kianna and Benjamin, his mother, Fatimeh, and his sister, Sara Roodbari. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor.

A service to celebrate Danyal’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at the Chatsworth Foursquare Church. Viewing will take place from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the funeral service at 1 pm. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
